Dla ułatwienia sobie życia do polecenia query przypisałem sobie alias .. Od dłuższego czasu (może dwa-trzy miesiące, nie pamiętam dokładnie) występuje problem w postaci odrzucania przez alias parametru ze spacją, oczywiście w cudzysłowiu. Konkretnie:

Please add Off-the-Record (OTR) Messaging (  http://www.cypherpunks.ca/otr/ ) to ekg2. I believe you use code from mcjabber (also GPL2) which already has this functionality (  http://www.lilotux.net/~mikael/mcabber/ ) and is also console client.

I have latest trunk of ekg2, with utf-8 enabled. Some of my contacts on contacts list contains polish utf-8 characters (żźćęł). When ekg2 updates contacts list (for example updating descriptions of some people on my list), a shrubs appears on that list. For example shifted chars (up, or/and down), or some random characters on contacts list. Same bug occurs, when I have query window opened (with contact who has polish signs in name) in command /input bar (one additional char per one polish char)

I have compilation error on Mac OSX. I have SVN version. I've put "./autogen.sh". It's OK. I've put "make" and on last lines I've that.

Nie wiem, czy to miało pomóc, nie pomogło.

Btw, w tym tracu nie ma możliwości odpowiedzi na ticket. Albo nie wiem jak to się robi.

some freenode channels requires registered nick to join, this authentication (/identify) is done after joining channels and should be done before ekg2 tries to join on channel. Now I need to do /cycle on every channel which requires registered and identified nick.

Here's the error when building with gcc 4.3.3-5 and libgtk2.0-dev 2.14.7-4+b1.

My gut feeling is that it's caused by a change in gtk headers inclusion order, but I haven't investigated this properly. Just filing this bug here so perhaps someone else can have a look.

I tried blindly adding a "#define GTK_DISABLE_DEPRECATED" near the top of the file, but that only changed the error to:

The following line in jabber_handle_stream_features() means that it is impossible to authenticate with a server which requires the whole "user@domain" string (rather than just "user").

I don't know what the standards dictate, but at least an option that would control this behaviour would be useful.

To reproduce, with ekg2 with unicode support: 1. xterm 2. ekg2 -n -u test 3. <stretch the xterm to make it one column wider> 4. <press the "q" key>

As soon as you press "q", two characters appear: ƚq that is: U+019A LATIN SMALL LETTER L WITH BAR and letter q

The number of U+019A characters is proportional to the number of times you resize the terminal before pressing another key.

In the thread starting at  http://lists.ziew.org/pipermail/ekg2-users/2008-October/001314.html the following was noted:

The bug does not appear in non-unicode version.

1) Start "ekg2 -u test -n" in standard 80x25 terminal.

2) Type:

which is needlessly made that short, as there is plenty of columns left.

Whenever we get disconnected and reconnect using auto_reconnect feature, all previously-joined channel windows are open like nothing did happen — it's even hard to guess we aren't there anymore.

IMO ekg2 should automagically rejoin all IRC channels (not only the AUTO_JOIN ones) on server reconnection.

Plugin mail doesn't seem to work. I have ~/Maildir with my mail. I'm typing: /plugin +mail /set mail:check_mail_folders Maildir/ /set mail:check_mail 6 and nothing happens

/session xml and /prepare checking XML validity.

If no plugin-specified comparison is given to ekg_connect(), we should create and use some default one, with 'prefer_family' session variable.

Collect warns like 'pkg-config not found' or 'non-unicode ncurses with UNICODE=1' and display them along with pretty-printed infos.
